VELTINS 'Eisarena' Winterberg
Ever since the 2015/16 season, the Winterberg bobsleigh and toboggan run has been known as the VELTINS-EisArena! With this name change, the traditional Sauerland-based brewer took over the naming rights for the entire sports complex which has had a high international reputation since the 1970s.
As Herbert Sollich, Marketing Director of Brauerei C. & A. VELTINS stated at the presentation of the new milestone, "We want to make our traditional partnership in local winter sports more obvious than before". "For us, this step is of conceptual and communicative significance, because it shines a light far beyond the region as a flagship project". As the company after which events will be named, VELTINS will also be present at the annual bobsleigh, skeleton and luge World Cups as the main TV sponsor.
